Changes
A mob can wear a model without an item, and share its name
- Fixed: a custom entity named after the model it wears (a
dragonwearingmypack:dragon) spawned as the plain vanilla mob, because the two could not share a name. They can now. - New: an entity's
model:can name a Blockbench file inassets/models/(ormodels/) directly. You no longer have to write an item just to own a mob's model. See Entities. - New:
/rp reloadwarns when an entity'smodel:names nothing it can find, instead of quietly spawning the plain mob.
0.2.38: Studio packs bring their shader objects and dialogs with them
- New: a pack exported from ResourcePack AI Studio and dropped into
plugins/RPEngine/content/now brings its shader objects, dialogs, screens and sounds, not just their art. After/rp reload,/rp shaderslists them,/rp shader studio:<id>shows one, and their rules (Always, On join and so on) apply to every player. Export the pack again to get this. See Adding a resource pack. - New: a pack served with Distribution brings its shader objects, dialogs and screens too, for every player who was served it. Before, they only worked if somebody also synced the same pack. Publish again to get this.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
