BiomeVisible makes exploring Minecraft a little more rewarding. Discover a biome for the first time to see its name displayed on screen and earn 5 experience points.

  • Personal discoveries: each player discovers biomes independently, with notifications shown only on their first visit.
  • Across all dimensions: explore biomes in the Overworld, Nether, and End.
  • Large biome names: the included resource pack makes each discovery stand out, with biome names displayed in your game’s language.
  • Saved progress: your discovery history persists through deaths, reconnects, and world restarts.
  • Multiplayer support: works in singleplayer worlds and on servers without a mod loader.

Installation

  1. Place the datapack ZIP in your world’s datapacks folder.
  2. Place the resource pack ZIP in your client’s resourcepacks folder and enable it.
  3. Run /reload or restart the world.

On servers, each player needs the resource pack enabled to see the intended fonts.

Use the datapack with ONE resource pack. The regular resource pack works independently. The Recolourful variant requires Recolourful Containers (DARK) 3.1.4 for Minecraft 26.3: enable it above the original Recolourful pack and keep that pack enabled.
