🛡 ️Iron Golem's Regenerate
Current Version : 1.3 for Forge 1.16.5 & 1.20.1
✅✅✅ NEW FEATURES!!!!! ✅✅✅
Iron Golems Regenerate is a lightweight, server-friendly Forge mod that improves village defense by giving Iron Golems natural health regeneration under realistic and configurable conditions.
Instead of Iron Golems slowly dying off after raids, zombie attacks, or long-term wear, this mod allows them to recover health over time, making villages feel more alive, resilient, and self-sustaining — without turning golems into invincible tanks.
✨ Core Features ❤️ Natural Iron Golem Regeneration
Iron Golems periodically regenerate health when conditions are met. The healing amount is modest and balanced, restoring 2 hearts per regeneration cycle by default.
🏘️ Village-Only Behavior
Regeneration only occurs when an Iron Golem is:
Inside a valid village
Actively protecting villagers
This ensures the feature feels immersive and lore-friendly, not global or artificial.
☀️ Daytime-Only Regeneration
Iron Golems regenerate only during the day.
At night, golems remain vulnerable — preserving danger during raids, sieges, and monster attacks.
👥 Villager-Powered Boost
The presence of villagers directly influences regeneration speed:
Few or no villagers nearby → normal regeneration rate
Multiple villagers nearby → faster regeneration
This creates a meaningful relationship between villagers and their protectors — the healthier the village, the stronger its defense.
💖 Visual Healing Feedback
When an Iron Golem regenerates:
❤️ Heart particles appear above it
Makes healing clearly visible and satisfying
Helps players understand when and why regeneration happens
⚙️ Fully Configurable (Server-Friendly)
All major settings can be adjusted via a Forge config file:
Base regeneration interval
Accelerated regeneration interval
Healing amount per cycle
Villager detection radius
Minimum villagers required for fast regeneration
No client-side configuration required — perfect for servers and modpacks.
Condition Healing Interval Village, daytime 2 hearts Every 30 seconds ≥3 villagers nearby 2 hearts Every 10 seconds Nighttime None — Outside villages None —
