This pack limits the amount of times you may die. It is similar to the Lifesteal datapack, except you can not withdraw hearts, and you cannot steal hearts.
Your health bar doubles as your life bar, each death removing a heart. When you run out of hearts, you are forced into spectator mode. To leave spectator mode, run this command: /scoreboard players set @s deathcounter 0 (just please don't use this to cheat if you're making a YouTube video on this)
You cannot have more than 10 hearts at a time. If you try to add more, your heart item won't be consumed, but you will not get more HP/Lives.
If you get a heart item and use it with full HP for the first time, you'll gain one extra life and won't lose hearts when you die. This only happens once, and if you die, you will not get this opportunity again; however, you may still craft hearts to gain more HP/Lives.
Hearts are expensive, requiring 2 netherite ingots, 2 totems of undying, 4 golden apples, and one nether star.
This datapack has multiplayer support for up to 8 players. A side effect of this datapack is, you can no longer craft warped fungus on a stick. Whenever you install this datapack, don't use hardcore mode, as it will break the pack.
