🛡️ Delta Force Armor System
A comprehensive armor management overhaul for Minecraft 1.21.11 that introduces a tiered repair kit system, changes how armor breaks, and gives you full control over durability mechanics.
✨ Core Features
🔧 Repair Kit System
5 tiers of repair kits for both helmets and chestplates:
- Copper → Entry level, repairs leather & copper armor
- Iron → Standard tier, repairs leather, chainmail, copper & iron
- Gold → Quick repair (20% faster use time)
- Diamond → Efficient repair (20% less durability consumption)
- Netherite → Universal repair for all armor tiers
Repair kits work by durability transfer — they have a capacity that depletes as you repair armor. Repair them in anvils using iron ingots!
💔 Armor Doesn't Break
When armor reaches zero durability, it doesn't disappear! Instead:
- ✅ Armor remains visible on your character
- ❌ Provides zero protection
- ❌ Enchantments stop working
- 🔧 Can still be repaired with repair kits
⚙️ Extensive Configuration
47+ configuration options via Cloth Config:
- Tier restrictions — Lower-tier kits can't repair high-tier armor
- Vanilla repair toggle — Disable anvil combining/material repair
- Mending toggle — Disable Mending enchantment on armor
- Durability multipliers — Make armor degrade faster or slower
- Custom capacities — Set repair kit capacity per tier
- Custom durabilities — Override vanilla armor durability values
- Hunger cost — Add hunger consumption when using kits
🎨 Custom Textures
High-quality 128×128 item textures with transparent backgrounds, scaled to 32×32 in-game for crisp rendering.
🎮 How It Works
Using Repair Kits
- Craft a repair kit (recipe provided in-game)
- Right-click while holding the kit
- Armor in the corresponding slot (helmet/chestplate) gets repaired
- Kit capacity depletes by the amount restored
Repairing Repair Kits
- Place a depleted repair kit in an anvil
- Combine with 1 iron ingot to restore capacity
- Costs XP levels (configurable)
Tier Restrictions (Optional)
When enableLevelRestriction=true:
| Kit Tier | Can Repair |
|---|---|
| Copper | Leather, Copper |
| Iron | Leather, Chainmail, Copper, Iron |
| Gold | Iron, Gold (quick repair specialization) |
| Diamond | All tiers up to Diamond (efficient repair) |
| Netherite | All armor types |
