🍂 Ecliptic Seasons: Fabricated

Watch the seasons change across your Fabric world.

Spring brings new growth. Summer fills the landscape with green. Autumn colors the forests, and winter gradually covers the land in snow.

Ecliptic Seasons: Fabricated is a native Fabric rewrite of Ecliptic Seasons, a seasonal environment mod inspired by the traditional Chinese 24 Solar Terms. It brings the core seasonal experience to Minecraft 26.1 and newer, with a smaller feature set than the NeoForge version.

🌍 A changing world

As the year progresses, the environment changes with it:

  • Seasonal colors and winter scenery
  • Snow accumulation and visual effects
  • Changing day and night lengths
  • Seasonal ambient sounds
  • Crop growth affected by season and humidity

Supported distant-terrain renderers can also show seasonal changes beyond Minecraft’s normal render distance. Check the optional integrations below for your setup.

🔄 How does it differ from Ecliptic Seasons on NeoForge?

Fabricated focuses on the core seasonal experience. Compared with the NeoForge version, it omits some chunk data storage systems, decorative items, seasonal greenhouse core mechanics, and the humidity control structure.

📦 Required dependency

Cardinal Components API is bundled; you do not need to install it separately for this mod.

🧩 Optional integrations

Mod compatibility

  • Serene Seasons API Stub Bridge — helps mods that depend on the Serene Seasons API work with Ecliptic Seasons: Fabricated. Check its project page for installation requirements.

Rendering

  • Sodium — recommended for rendering performance.
  • Voxy — distant terrain support; enable the relevant integration in the configuration.
  • Distant Horizons — seasonal appearance for supported distant terrain.

Compatibility can vary by Minecraft and mod version. Check the relevant project pages before assembling a modpack.
