GenSprout

GenSprout is a Minecraft plugin for Paper 1.21.7+ servers. It provides block generators, crop farming, Sell Wands, prestige progression, and Paper Dialog UIs.

Key Features

Upgradable Generator Blocks

• Tiered Generators: Place generator blocks (Tiers 1 to 25+) that drop items periodically.
• Control Menu: Right click a generator to view stats, upgrade its tier, or pick it up into your inventory.
• Bulk Generator Shop: Use /genshop to buy multiple generators with interactive slider menus.
• Building Supplies Shop: Use /shop to buy building blocks and utilities like chests, hoppers, and buckets.
• AFK Protection: Generators pause drop production when nearby uncollected items exceed configured caps.

Prestige Crop Farming

• Instanced Farm Regions: Shared farm regions track crop regrowth separately for each player. When one player harvests a crop, it enters regrowth only for them. Other players can still harvest it.
• Farming Progression: Harvest crops to gain XP, level up, and unlock new crops upon prestige. Crop sequence: Wheat, Potatoes, Carrots, Beetroots.
• Progress Tracking: Action bar displays XP progress while harvesting. On-screen title notifies when prestige criteria are met.

Sell Wands and Auto-Sell

• Sell Wands: Right click containers with a Sell Wand to sell contents immediately.
• Auto-Sell: Sell crops and generator drops upon pickup.

Sprout Hoe and Custom Enchants

• Sprout Hoe: Upgrade farming tool using Essence earned from harvesting crops.
• Hoe Enchants:
  • XP Booster: Increases Farming XP gains.
  • Essence Finder: Increases Essence drop probability.
  • Crop Doubler: Provides a probability to receive double crop drops.
  • Replenish: Replants harvested crops.
  • Harvest Area: Harvests a 3x3 block area in one swing.
  • Reach: Increases block reach range (levels 1-5).
  • Auto-Sell (Crops Only): Automatically sells harvested crops.

Scoreboard and Stats

• Sidebar Stats: Displays level, XP, balance, prestige, essence, and active generator count.

Tutorial and Admin Tools

• Join Message: Displays configurable welcome message when players log in.
• Starter Tutorial: First join and /help present the starting tutorial dialog. Execute /start to receive starter items. Players with gensprout.tester permission can rerun /start.
• Admin Management: Reset player stats using /gensprout clearstats <user>.

Performance Specifications

• Async Saving: Player data persists asynchronously.
• Memory Indexing: Farm regions use indexed coordinate lookups.
• Offline Earnings: Calculates generator output that accumulated while players were offline.

Requirements

• Server Software: Paper 1.21.7+ or Purpur.
• Java Version: Java 21 or higher.
• Dependencies: Vault plugin. Includes internal economy fallback and connects to external economy providers.
