VoidUpgrade

A simple Paper plugin that lets you upgrade containers to automatically void excess items when they are full. Useful for mob farms and automated sorting systems to prevent hoppers from backing up.

Features

• Void Excess Items: When an upgraded chest is completely full, any additional items pushed into it by hoppers are instantly destroyed.
• Visual Indicator: Upgraded containers emit particles so you know they are active.
• Performance: Designed with vanilla hopper optimizations in mind. It processes voided items exactly at the vanilla hopper speed without causing lag.
• Persistent: Upgrades are stored directly on the block and survive server restarts or chunk unloads.

How to use

Void Upgrade

Used to upgrade a container (Chest, Barrel, or Shulker Box).

• Crafting: 1 Ender Pearl surrounded by 8 Obsidian.
• Usage: Sneak + Right-Click a container with the item.

Upgrade Clearer

Used to remove the upgrade from a container. The Void Upgrade item will drop on the ground.

• Crafting: 1 Stick surrounded by 8 Redstone Dust.
• Usage: Sneak + Right-Click an upgraded container. The clearer item is not consumed.
