ServerAutoStop
ServerAutoStop is a lightweight Minecraft server plugin that automatically shuts down your server at a scheduled time.
Configure your shutdown schedule and warning messages directly in config.yml. Keep your server management simple and avoid leaving your server running longer than necessary.
Features
- Scheduled Shutdowns: Automatically shut down your server at a configurable time.
- Customizable Warnings: Add multiple warning messages to notify players before shutdown.
- Flexible Timing: Choose how many minutes before shutdown each warning is sent.
- Custom Messages: Configure warning and shutdown messages to suit your server.
- Daily Shutdown Cancellation: Cancel the scheduled shutdown for the current day when needed.
- Automatic Startup Handling: If the server starts after its scheduled shutdown time, the shutdown is skipped for that day.
- Data Saving: Save server data before shutdown.
Configuration
Edit config.yml to customize your shutdown time and warning messages.
Example:
stop-time: "22:00"
warnings:
- minutes: 10
message: "[ServerAutoStop] The server will shut down in %minutes% minutes!"
- minutes: 5
message: "[ServerAutoStop] The server will shut down in %minutes% minutes!"
- minutes: 1
message: "[ServerAutoStop] The server will shut down soon!"
broadcast-message: "[ServerAutoStop] The server is shutting down."
You can add as many warning entries as you need. The %minutes% placeholder is replaced with the configured warning time.
Commands
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/serverautostop cancel |
Cancel the automatic shutdown for the current day. |
The cancellation command requires operator permissions by default.
Important Notes
- The shutdown schedule uses the server machine's local time.
- If the server starts after the scheduled shutdown time, the shutdown is skipped for that day.
- ServerAutoStop shuts down the server; it does not automatically restart it.
