Server AntiCrash is a small server-side NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1.

Its purpose is to reduce certain server crashes in heavily modded environments. The mod automatically enables NeoForge's built-in ticking crash protection for entities and block entities, allowing the server to remove a problematic ticking object instead of immediately shutting down in supported cases.

It also blocks unsafe far-out chunk generation requests outside the normal vanilla world boundary. This can help with crashes caused by mods accidentally trying to generate or access invalid distant chunks.

Commands:

  • /crashguard status
  • /crashguard enable
  • /crashguard disable

Requirements:

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge 21.1.228 or newer

Installation: Install this mod on the server. Clients do not need to install it.

Important: This mod does not fix every crash. It cannot recover from startup errors, missing registries, incompatible mods, corrupted worlds, JVM/native crashes, out-of-memory crashes, or crashes that happen outside the protected ticking/chunk-generation cases.
