VersionWarning

This is a Minecraft plugin for Spigot/Paper which allows server administrators to warn players when they join with deprecated or soon unsupported client versions.

• Join warnings for deprecated Minecraft client versions
• Fully configurable warning rules in config.yml
• Supports protocol-based matching for old and newer versions
• Custom warning messages with placeholders and color codes
• Optional admin notifications when deprecated clients join
• Console logging for detected deprecated client versions
• Self-toggle for players with permission using /vw toggle
• Reload command for config changes without restarting the server
• Debug mode for troubleshooting protocol detection
• Supports Minecraft versions from 1.17 up to 26.2

Commands:

• /versionwarning reload - Reload the plugin configuration
• /versionwarning check <player> - Check a player's detected client version
• /versionwarning list - Show all configured deprecation rules
• /versionwarning toggle - Toggle your own warnings on or off

Permissions:

• versionwarning.admin - Access to admin commands
• versionwarning.bypass - Allows toggling your own warnings with /vw toggle
• versionwarning.notify - Receive admin notifications for deprecated joins

Important when updating: If you update from an older build, replace the old jar and review your config.yml settings. If needed, delete the existing config to regenerate the latest default values.
