One plugin, endless possibilities.

Nexora is an all-in-one survival and server-management plugin built for Paper 26.2. It combines death chests, physical chest keys, secure player trading, AFK protection, rentable areas, debts, and an item-based marketplace in one modular plugin.

💀 Death Chests

When a player dies, Nexora securely stores their inventory inside a visual death chest placed at the exact death location.

  • Restores items to their original inventory slots
  • Preserves the hotbar, armor and off-hand
  • Displays the dead player's name above the chest
  • Green particles surround active death chests
  • Red and white particles appear when a chest is recovered
  • Existing items collected after respawning are preserved
  • Overflowing items are safely dropped at the player's feet
  • Death chests survive server restarts
  • Configurable owner-only and expiration periods
  • Administrative inventory restoration command
  • Compatible with Java and Bedrock players through Geyser/Floodgate
  • No death chest is created when keepInventory is enabled

Java players see the entity-based Nexora chest, while Bedrock players receive a native, visible and clickable representation.

🔑 Physical Chest Keys

Protect normal chests and barrels using real physical Nexora keys instead of commands.

A chest key can be crafted using a tripwire hook and a gold nugget.

  • Sneak and right-click to link or unlink a key
  • A key can unlock multiple containers
  • One container can accept multiple keys
  • Keys work from the inventory, hotbar or off-hand
  • Access follows the physical key
  • A stolen or shared key can be used by its holder
  • Only the owner can manage keys, expand or break the container
  • Supports single chests, double chests and barrels
  • Protects locked containers from explosions and hopper extraction
  • Existing locked containers remain safely accessible after updating

Remove the final linked key to make a container public again.

🤝 Secure Player Trading

Send safe trade requests without dropping items on the ground.

  • /trade <player> sends a trade request
  • Clickable ACCEPT and DENY buttons
  • /taccept and /tdeny command support
  • Shared double-chest trading interface
  • Separate protected areas for both players
  • Both players must confirm the final trade
  • Editing an offer automatically cancels previous confirmations
  • Items are returned after cancellation, disconnection, death or plugin shutdown

👻 AFK Protection

Players can manually enter AFK mode using /afk, or Nexora can activate it automatically after five minutes of inactivity.

While AFK:

  • The player becomes invincible
  • A ghost-like silhouette remains visible
  • Player collisions are disabled
  • Other players cannot push the AFK player into traps
  • Water, pistons and external movement do not cancel AFK mode
  • The server announces when a player enters or leaves AFK mode
  • Ten additional seconds of protection are granted after leaving AFK mode

Moving voluntarily, chatting, using commands or interacting automatically disables AFK mode.

🏠 Chunk Rentals

Create protected rentable areas directly inside the game.

  • Select up to nine chunks using an interactive 3×3 chat interface
  • The central chunk is always included
  • Creating a rental costs one diamond per selected chunk
  • Choose how often tenants must pay
  • Set a custom rental price
  • Select any Minecraft item as the rental currency
  • Send clickable rental requests
  • Automatically transfer payments to the owner
  • Protect the area from unauthorized players
  • Restrict overdue tenants from interacting until payment
  • Manage tenants, payments and rental information
  • Rental data survives restarts and updates

💰 Rental Debts

Rental owners can assign additional debts to accepted tenants inside their rental area.

  • /debt <player> <amount> creates a debt
  • /debt displays current debts
  • /debt pay [owner] pays an outstanding debt
  • /debt clear <player> cancels a tenant's debt
  • Debts use the rental area's selected currency
  • All debts are saved between restarts

🛒 Player Marketplace

Nexora includes a marketplace based entirely on Minecraft items. It does not create a virtual currency.

  • Sell complete item bundles
  • Request any exact Minecraft material as payment
  • Materials remain distinct: emerald and emerald_block are different
  • Preserve enchantments, names, lore, durability and item components
  • Browse listings through a paginated inventory
  • Inspect the real items before purchasing
  • Create random-reward Lucky Block listings
  • Receive payments while offline
  • Recover pending items using /market collect
  • Cancel and manage personal listings
  • Transactions and listings are saved with automatic backups

🛠️ Administration

Administrators can enable or disable each Nexora module independently:

  • Death chests
  • Physical chest keys
  • Trading
  • AFK protection
  • Rentals
  • Debts
  • Marketplace

Use /nexadmin all on|off to control every module at once.

Additional tools allow administrators to:

  • Restore a player's latest death chest
  • Configure death chest ownership and expiration times
  • Delete a player's rental area with confirmation
  • Repair or manage locked containers

  • Java 25
  • Floodgate recommended for Bedrock compatibility

📥 Installation

  1. Stop your Paper server.
  2. Place the Nexora JAR inside the server's plugins folder.
  3. Remove any older DeathChestEntity JAR if it is still installed.
  4. Start the server.
  5. Configure Nexora inside plugins/Nexora/config.yml.

Existing DeathChestEntity data is automatically migrated when possible.

💾 Persistent and Update-Safe

Death chests, rentals, debts, marketplace listings, payments and container protections are saved to disk. They remain available after normal server restarts and Nexora updates.

Always keep a backup of your server before installing any plugin update.
