Spokes Orbital Warden Cannon
Cast the Warden Rod, reel in, and call down a rain of wardens from the sky onto wherever you're aiming. Each shot also drops TNT that blasts the wardens outward as they fall.
How it works
- Cast the Warden Rod. This arms the shot.
- Reel in. The rod breaks with a sound, and the cannon locks onto the spot you're looking at. Your aim direction picks the target, not the bobber.
- One second later, a cluster of wardens spawns 40 blocks above the target, with TNT just above them to blast them outward.
Each rod is one shot.
Every shot is different
- The wardens are placed in three rings (16, 8 and 4 spots), around the center.
- Each shot fills a random share of those spots, from about a third to all of them, so some shots drop a few wardens and some drop a lot.
- The pattern turns to a random angle every shot.
Getting the rod
Run this command in chat (you need operator permissions or cheats on):
/function orbital_warden:give
It gives you the Warden Rod. Hold it in your main hand to use it. Ordinary fishing rods don't fire the cannon.
Installing
- Download the zip. Don't unzip it.
- Put it in your world's
datapacksfolder. - Run
/reloadin the world, or restart it.
Good to know
- Difficulty: wardens are removed instantly on Peaceful, so use Easy or higher.
- Lag: each shot spawns up to 28 wardens and 15 TNT at once. Firing many shots quickly will slow the game down.
- Clean up:
/kill @e[type=warden]removes every warden. - Stay back: the TNT can hurt you and break blocks, so aim far away from yourself.
- Mods: other mods that change entities or fishing may interfere with the cannon.
