mTreeCuter is a robust and lightweight Minecraft plugin for Paper 1.21.11 that drastically simplifies woodcutting. By breaking a single block, players can chop down entire trees instantly! It brings an immersive dynamic feeling to vanilla Minecraft while remaining highly configurable to suit the needs of any server.

• Instant Tree Chopping: Break one log block to bring down an entire tree.
• Shift-Mining Option: Force players to hold Sneak (Shift) to activate the tree-cutting mechanic.
• Immersive Effects:
  • Glowing Blocks: The tree log blocks briefly glow when chopped, visually highlighting the entire tree structure. Configurable colors per wood type (e.g., gold for Nether woods, aqua for Overworld woods).
  • Mining Animations & Particles: Provides satisfying visual feedback when trees fall down.
• Fast Leaf Decay: Automatically speed up leaf decay when a tree is cut down.
• Smart Item Drops: Optionally send dropped wood logs, saplings, and apples directly to the player's inventory to reduce ground lag.
• Auto-Plant Saplings: Automatically detect falling saplings and replant them on valid ground blocks securely.
• Disabled Worlds Limits: Globally disable the tree-cutting feature in specific worlds (like Hubs or mini-game maps).
• Custom Actions System: Execute specific server commands based on the type of tree chopped and the quantity of logs broken (e.g., giving monetary rewards or custom messages).

⚙️ Commands & Permissions

• /mtreecuter toggle – Enable/disable the tree-cutting ability personally for a player.
• /mtreecuter reload – Reloads the config.yml on the fly.

Permissions

• treecuter.use – Permission granted to players to allow them to cut down whole trees (if use-permissions is enabled in the config).
• Admin permissions apply for /mtreecuter reload.

🛠️ Configuration

The plugin offers extensive customization in the config.yml file. You can easily configure:

• Minimum blocks to qualify as a "tree" to cut.
• Maximum block limits to prevent server lag on giant custom trees.
• Allowed tools (Wooden Axe up to Netherite Axe).
• Custom accepted leaves algorithms (including Shroomlights and Nether Warts).
• Translation and formatting of all UI messages.
