๐งฒ MOB MAGNETISM โ NEW UPDATE! This is a physics based mod that made entirely for pure fun.
Hey everyone, welcome back! Version 1.1.3 completely overhauls the mod. We threw out the old glove models and replaced them with a brand-new, clean sci-fi weapon system featuring custom 3D models and automated physics.
๐ฎ CREATIVE MODE ONLY (But this is just for now! I have plans to make these items obtainable in survival mode later.) There are no survival crafting recipes yet. Just open your Creative Inventory and check the bottom of the Combat or Tools & Utilities tabs to grab the items.
๐ ๏ธ THE ITEMS & HOW TO PLAY
The Polarity Core (Handheld Device) The old gloves are gone. The main item is now a compact handheld gadget that uses a clean, default-sized hand model.
- Left-Click Mobs: Tags them with a Positive (+) magnetic charge particle.
- Right-Click Mobs: Tags them with a Negative (-) magnetic charge particle.
- You can tag as many mobs as you want, they will just stand there.
- HOLD SNEAK (SHIFT): This activates the physics in a massive 20-block radius. Opposite charges will violently slam together into a big collision, and matching charges will fly away from each other. The mobs die in a harmless explosion that won't break any blocks.
Implosion Grenade (Throwable)
- Features a brand-new custom 3D model!
- Throw it like a splash potion. It triggers automatically when it hits the ground, no sneaking required.
- It instantly anchors itself and sucks all mobs in a massive 20-block radius into the center, makes them collide, and kills them with a safe, non-destructive explosion.
Repulsion Grenade (Throwable)
- Features its own matching custom 3D model!
- Throw it like a splash potion. It triggers automatically when it hits the ground, no sneaking needed.
- It sends out a massive kinetic shockwave that violently blasts all mobs within 20 blocks far away into the sky.
(Reminder: The mod is completely open-source under the MIT license now. It's still just for fun while I work on new projects and improvements!)
