Changes
2.0 — Release
- Implemented persistent kick-count tracking and automatic ban after repeated kicks.
- Default policy: 3 kicks => 3-day ban for reason "Unfair Advantage".
- Kick counts are persisted in config under
kick-countsand survive restarts.
- Added administrative command: /aegis resetkicks <player> to reset a player's persistent kick count.
- Maintained and improved previous detections (Spider, Jesus, AutoArmor, AutoTotem, NoFall, Nuker, AutoClicker, FastBow, FastConsume, Phase, Timer, Elytra).
- Ensured all kicks and bans are executed on the main server thread; respects admin and kick-exempt permissions.
- Discord webhook support for flags and kicks remains configurable and asynchronous.
- Conservative defaults and multi-check weighted flagging retained to reduce false positives. Tune config.yml on a staging server before production.
- General robustness: thread-safe maps, robust null-checks, immediate persistence of kick counts, and safe logging.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
