🌿 Aeternum Seasons 2.4 — Update
Update Notes (English)
❄️ Smarter Snow System
In Aeternum Seasons 2.4, the snow logic has been completely improved:
- Snow now covers the world in a more intelligent and safe way.
- Snow layers will no longer appear on:
- Slabs
- Glowstone
- Torches
- Chests and furnaces
- Carpets
- Path blocks
- Fences
- Buttons
- Signs
- The snow placement logic has been fully reviewed and fixed to avoid ruining player builds and decorations.
🌸 Cherry Biome in Autumn
- The cherry biome now also reacts properly to seasons.
- During autumn, the leaf color in cherry biomes changes correctly to match the seasonal palette.
🌪️ Tornado Event Adjustments
- The tornado event has been adjusted to be safer on multiplayer servers.
- A new configuration was added so server owners can:
- Choose in which worlds the tornado is allowed to spawn.
- Prevent tornadoes from appearing in the lobby, spawn, or protected areas.
- This helps avoid accidental destruction in important server regions.
🔥 Infernal World Portal
- The portal logic for the infernal dimension has been improved.
- Traveling to and from this world now works correctly and consistently.
🧭 HUD and Day Display
- Fixed several HUD issues related to:
- Day display.
- Minor command behavior glitches.
- These problems are now practically imperceptible and the HUD behaves stable and in sync with the calendar system.
📅 Event Pace and Rest Days
- Events will no longer trigger back-to-back as frequently.
- There is now a pool of rest days between events:
- 2, 3, or 4 days with no event.
- One of these rest days is randomly selected before scheduling a new event.
- This gives more immersion and progression to the world, letting players breathe between events.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
