What is HyprexeModeration?
HyprexeModeration is a full staff moderation plugin for Paper servers. It combines a punishment system, an interactive report system, and a set of real-time staff tools (vanish, freeze, invsee, ender chest access, jailing) into a single plugin, so staff don't need to juggle five separate plugins to run a server.
Features
Punishments
/ban,/banip,/mute,/warn,/kick, with full undo commands (/unban,/unmute,/unwarn, etc.)- Every punishment requires a reason and supports optional durations (
s/m/h/d/w/M/y) - Full punishment history per player (
/checkhistory), quick status checks (/mutecheck,/bancheck), and per-staff statistics (/staffstats) - Optional auto-ban after a configurable number of warnings
- A custom ban screen showing the reason, banning staff member, and expiry
Reports
- Players run
/report <player>and pick a reason from clickable buttons — no typed arguments needed - Staff above a configurable rank get an instant alert with a real "Claim" button
- A full paginated GUI (
/reports list) lists every report, color-coded by status, with claim/teleport/resolve/dismiss actions built in
Staff tools
/vanish— become invisible to lower-ranked players and the tab list/freeze— lock a player in place/invseeand/ec— view or edit a player's inventory or ender chest, online or offline, with separate view-only and edit permissions/jail,/unjail,/jails— send players to configurable jail cells that block commands and auto-ban players who log out while jailed
Integrations
- Discord webhook logging for every action (bans, mutes, warns, reports, and more), including a generic logger you can point at any other command
- PlaceholderAPI placeholders for warn count, mute status, and ban status
- Supports either a shared MySQL database (for syncing punishments/reports across multiple servers) or a local SQLite database (for a single standalone server)
How ranking works
HyprexeModeration does not have its own rank system. All permission-to-punish and vanish-visibility checks are based on LuckPerms group weight: a staff member can only act on players with a strictly lower weight than their own, and vanished players are only visible to players with an equal or higher weight. This means your existing LuckPerms setup is the single source of truth for staff hierarchy — no separate rank list to maintain.
Requirements
- Paper 1.21-26.2 (or a Paper-based fork such as Purpur) — not compatible with vanilla Spigot, as it relies on Paper/Adventure APIs
- Java 21
- LuckPerms (soft-depend, required for rank-based checks)
- PlaceholderAPI (soft-depend, optional)
- MySQL or SQLite for data storage (SQLite is bundled, no extra install needed)
