Archetect
A modern rebuild of the classic schematic-preview experience for current Minecraft, inspired by the long-deprecated Schematica for today's Fabric API.
Load a schematic and see it as a translucent, movable blueprint in your world. Build it yourself with the help of layer-by-layer view, or let Printer place it for you automatically.
Features
- Full format support — load and save
.schem,.litematic, and legacy.schematicfiles - Ghost rendering — see your schematic as a translucent hologram, positioned anywhere in the world
- Move, rotate, and flip the hologram to line it up exactly where you want it
- Layer mode — step through your build one layer at a time
- Materials list — see exactly what you still need, updated live as you build
- Printer — automated block placement using legitimate interaction packets
- Selection tool — mark a region and save your own builds as new schematic files
- In-game help — run
/archetect helpany time for a full command and keybind reference
Getting Started
- Install Fabric API alongside Archetect
- Drop your schematic files into
config/archetect/schematics/ - Open the Load screen (default keybind: Numpad /) to pick a file
- Open the Control screen (default keybind: Numpad -) to move, rotate, and manage your active schematic
Run /archetect help in-game for the full list of commands and keybinds.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader + Fabric API
- Minecraft 26.1.2
Notes
Printer automates real, legitimate placement actions, it does not bypass server validation. And multiplayer server rules around automated building still apply. Always confirm with server admins before enabling it.
Archetect is an independent project, built from scratch against current Fabric/Minecraft APIs. It is not affiliated with or derived from Schematica, Litematica or its codebase.
