Opening a chest should feel like opening a chest. This pack gives chests, double chests and barrels a warm wood and parchment screen, and leaves the rest of the interface exactly as it is.

The inventory, hotbar, shulker boxes, crafting table, furnaces, buttons and menus are untouched. The layout is exactly vanilla, only the colours change, so it works with any other pack.

Ender chests

Vanilla Minecraft draws ender chests with the same screen as normal chests, so in plain vanilla they turn wooden too. The pack also includes a dark green ender chest screen in the OptiFine custom GUI format. It is used when you have a mod that reads that format, such as OptiGUI.

Every texture is generated from Minecraft's default one, so the pack keeps the vanilla 16x style and can be combined with other packs. Minecraft's original textures belong to Mojang.

Install

Drop the zip into your resourcepacks folder and switch it on in Options → Resource Packs. No mods needed. Works on Minecraft 1.21.11 and newer (tested on 1.21.11 and 26.3).
