No Tab Commands
No Tab Commands is a Fabric mod that prevents command autocompletion for players without operator permissions, while still allowing administrators to grant access to specific commands through a simple JSON configuration. The mod is split into separate client and server versions.
What can you do?
- Hide command autocompletion from non-operator players.
- Allow operators to use normal command suggestions.
- Grant access to specific commands for all players or selected commands through the server configuration.
- Manage the allowed commands directly in-game with a command.
- Reload the configuration without restarting the server.
Commands that are not included in the allowed list cannot be executed and will not appear in command autocompletion for non-operator players.
Server commands
Administrators can manage the allowed command list using:
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/cmd add <command> |
Adds a command to the allowed list |
/cmd remove <command> |
Removes a command from the allowed list |
/cmd list |
Shows all allowed commands |
/cmd reload |
Reloads the configuration |
Configuration path
The list of allowed commands is stored in:
config/notabcommands/config.json
Note: This JSON file is created automatically the first time the server starts.
Configuration example
{
"allowed": [
"help",
"msg"
]
}
Note: After editing the file manually, use
/cmd reload.
