Chorus Invsee

Open, view and edit any player's inventory and ender chest, online or offline. Built for Paper 26.2 with a live-synced GUI, full permission control, action logs, backups, item search and every message customizable with hex colors. Purple by default.

Features

  • Inventory viewer: main inventory, hotbar, armor and offhand in one clean GUI, with a player info head.
  • Ender chest viewer: open any ender chest with /endersee.
  • Offline players: view and edit players who are not online, with automatic backups before the first edit.
  • Live sync: the view updates in real time while the target plays, and edits apply instantly.
  • View-only or editable: separate permissions for viewing and editing.
  • Protection: chorusinvsee.exempt stops a player from being opened, chorusinvsee.protect stops them from being edited. chorusinvsee.bypass overrides both.
  • Armor slot safety: wrong items placed in armor slots are bounced back (can be disabled).
  • Item search: /invsearch <item> finds who holds an item, online and offline.
  • Staff alerts and optional target notification when an inventory is opened.
  • Action log: every open and every edit is written to plugins/ChorusInvsee/logs/invsee.log.
  • Last target memory: run /invsee with no arguments to reopen the last player.
  • Everything customizable: all messages, GUI titles, item names and lore live in messages.yml.
  • Colors: legacy & codes, hex #8B5CF6 or &#8B5CF6, and MiniMessage tags such as <gradient:#8B5CF6:#C4B5FD>text</gradient>.

Exempt and protect are checked for online players only. Restrict chorusinvsee.offline to trusted staff.

Configuration

config.yml controls refresh speed, self-viewing, armor slot restriction, notifications, offline support, backups, search limits, logging and GUI materials. messages.yml controls every text. Run /chorusinvsee reload after editing.

Offline players and backups

Offline edits are written directly to the player's data file. Before the first edit of each session the plugin saves a copy in plugins/ChorusInvsee/backups/<uuid>/ and keeps the latest five by default. If the player joins while their offline view is open, the view closes automatically.
