Ever wanted to get more out of the vanilla advancement system of minecraft? Then Custom Advancements is for you.
Features:
- Add as many custom advancements as you like simply by placing their json files into the customadvancements folder in your game directory.
- Simply remove certain advancements from the game.
- Edit in-game advancements and advancements of other mods as you like! Even supports translations!
- Change how advancements behave, making it necessary to have the parent advancement achieved in order to achieve the next one!
- Is the game to easy for you? Let the mod reset your advancements when you die!
- Change the order of the advancement tabs in the advancements screen via the config.
- Bored of the same old, endless repeating background textures used by minecraft? Use your own custom background images for your advancement tabs or let the mod draw a fancy gradient!
Each feature also works with the advancements of other mods and can be toggled via config options!
This mod is especially useful for modpack creators who want to base their modpack on an advancement system.
I'm sorry that there haven't been any updates for the past two years but university took all my time. I'm currently working on a revamp of the mod for 1.21.1 for forge, neoforge and fabric including improvements and quality of life updates. I'm also planning on adding more customization options for the advancements screen. So stay tuned for updates (which hopefully will happen sooner than later).
