Lost Enchantments
Lost Enchantments A NeoForge mod that adds 25 overpowered fantasy enchantments to Minecraft. Deal more damage the lower your health, chain lightning between foes, cheat death, mine a whole ore vein at once. None of them roll at the enchanting table, you find them out in the world as enchanted books in loot, fishing, and rare librarian trades. Each has a colored name and a gray line telling you exactly what it does.
Built for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Works on dedicated servers, install the same jar on both client and server. No config, no extra dependencies, no setup.
Its own namespace, so it sits cleanly alongside other enchant mods, it pairs nicely with Hidden Enchantments.
Features
- 25 overpowered enchantments, each doing one specific, powerful thing.
- Treasure-only. None appear in the enchanting table; you earn them from loot, fishing, and librarian trades (at doubled emerald price).
- Works on modded gear by targeting the shared vanilla enchantable item tags.
- A gray effect line under every enchantment name, like potions show their effects.

How to get them
None appear in the enchanting table. They are treasure enchantments:
- As enchanted books in generated loot.
- By fishing them up.
- From librarian villagers at doubled emerald price.
With every enchantment weighted low, finding one is a genuine reward.
Installation
- Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Download
lostenchants-3.0.0.jar. - Drop it in your
mods/folder. - Launch.
The same jar works on client and dedicated server.
Why treasure-only?
These enchantments are strong on purpose. Keeping all of them out of the enchanting table means finding one is an event, and the early game stays balanced around vanilla enchantments.
