Changes
FreeMinecraftModels 2.14.0:
- [New] Pets have their own health, speed, sting and poison stats. Babies get their parents' average, give or take a little, so careful breeding raises stronger pets, and a pet's size follows its stats
- [New] Pet passports: right-click a pet in /fmm pets, or sneak-right-click your own pet, to open a book with its stats, family tree, babies and history
- [New] Pet colour variants can have their own name, baby model, spawn biomes and rarity. A baby takes one parent's colour, rare colours breed true less often, and now and then a baby mutates into another colour
- [New] Some night migration flocks are all one rare colour
- [New] A hurt pet shows an EliteMobs-style health bar. Pets heal slowly on their own and faster when fed their food
- [New] Owned pets defend their owner from any attacker, including mobs, players and other pets, and mobs fight back against pets that sting them
- [New] A wild pet that a player hurts can chase them and sting back
- [New] Name a pet with a name tag renamed in an anvil. Pets show no name above them until they are named
- [New] /fmm givepet gives a player a pet from the console, for shop, crate and reward plugins
- [New] Set a pet free with two shift-right-clicks in /fmm pets. pets.yml can cap how many pets a player keeps and stop babies from growing up
- [New] /fmm petadmin give and spawn take a colour, and give without one opens a colour picker
- [New] Setup menus have a Coming soon category for content that isn't released yet, starting with the Driftjelly Pet Pack
- [New] API: plugins can hide a model from one player with hideFrom and showTo, and creating a model on a mob that already wears one replaces it
- [New] API: a MagicAttackResolver can turn off a cast's enchantment modifiers
- [Tweak] Owned pets now die for good and can be hurt by their owner by default, like tamed wolves. Existing pets.yml files keep their settings
- [Tweak] Owned pets roam up to 20 blocks while their owner stands about and stay closer while they move. Several pets each take their own spot, and catch-up teleports land behind the owner, only past 40 blocks by default
- [Tweak] Pets push each other apart instead of stacking
- [Tweak] Stay orders and pet health survive restarts, and wild pets in unloaded chunks are saved in the chunk instead of data/wild_pets.yml, which moves over on its own
- [Tweak] Pet spawn biomes include the custom world generator biomes MagmaCore maps to vanilla ones
- [Tweak] Updated the shipped pet behavior modules and added defend_owner and retaliate. FreeMinecraftModels never overwrites your copies in pet_behaviors/, so delete one to get its new version
- [Fix] Hovering pets no longer sink far below their hover height
- [Fix] Night migration flocks no longer start inside hills

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
