Create: Under Pressure

An addon to the addon Create: Simulated, Under Pressure adds...well, linear actuator cylinders (for now), using SubLevels to improve upon the idea of Create's Mechanical Pistons. Due to this, we've also added Hoses so you can seamlessly integrate your Create fluid networks to a SubLevel!

What does this mod add?

Linear Actuator

A massive upgrade to standard mechanical pistons. Deploy fully physics-driven cylinders that act as independent, buildable Sable SubLevels! These actuators respect the physical weight of whatever load they are pushing, utilizing dynamic physical responses. If you want to push exceptionally heavy contraptions, you'll have to carefully balance your fluid pressure, fluid viscosity, and the number of cylinders.

Rubber Hose

A flexible, physics-simulated, rope-like hose that can be extended between two points. This seamlessly integrates your fluid networks directly into a SubLevel and interacts directly with Create's Hose Pulley, giving it brand-new functionality as a dynamic hose winch!

Pressure Gauge

Reads the fluid pressure passing through your networks. Fluid pressure is a big deal in this mod, push your system beyond its fluid-capacity limits under high stress, and your cylinders might just burst!

Getting Started

For now, just go into Creative and get yourself a Linear Actuator item, and a Rubber Hose.

This mod is still in its VERY early stages and therefore UNSTABLE. As a one-man show for most of the mod's development, not to mention a complete beginner at modding in general, but as I gain more experience I will be making breaking changes to the mod every major version, so I CANNOT recommend you use this in Survival Mode. I am not professional about this, I'm making this mod primarily for fun, so if I take forever to fix something, it is what it is.
