These are the recommended client mods for playing on the Footlickers Minecraft server - a vanilla+ experience with real server-side support behind it, not just a random mod pile.

Core: Distant Horizons - extended render distance, backed by real server-side LOD generation (DistantHorizonsSupport plugin), so distant terrain is accurate, not guessed. Simple Voice Chat - real proximity voice chat, synced with the server's Discord bridge. Xaero's Minimap and Xaero's World Map - waypoints and a full explored-world map, synced with server data.

Performance: Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, EntityCulling, ImmediatelyFast, C2ME - a real, tested performance stack. Big FPS/TPS wins, no gameplay changes.

Visuals: Iris + Solas Shader - lightweight, vanilla-style shaders with full Distant Horizons support. Entity Texture Features (ETF), Entity Model Features (EMF), Entity Sound Features (ESF) + Fresh Animations - dynamic mob animations, textures and sounds. Still vanilla-feel, just more alive. Continuity - connected textures (glass, bookshelves, etc.) for a cleaner look.
