Eridanus Origin

Eridanus is a series of modpacks built upon Origin, the core base modpack designed to preserve vanilla gameplay while significantly enhancing mechanics, graphics, and overall user experience.

Every variant in the Eridanus series builds on top of Origin with the goal of bundling essential addons around a specific core mod.

Overview

The main goal of Origin is to elevate the core vanilla experience without introducing overhaul blocks or gameplay-breaking mechanics. It focuses on visual enhancements and essential Quality of Life (QoL) features.

• Visual Enhancements: Advanced particle effects, custom shaders, visual effects, 3D textures, and more. The pack can offer a good visual improvement also without shaders to be light and aesthetic on low-end pcs.

• Distant Horizons: Configured to maintain smooth performance while supporting up to 256 render distance chunks (with pre-generation enabled).
• Shaders: Disabled by default for maximum compatibility, with popular shader packs pre-included in the settings menu.
