Vanilla Star Wars

Overview

Vanilla Star Wars is a data pack that brings the world of Star Wars to Vanilla Minecraft!

The goal of this data pack is to provide a polished, performance-friendly experience that adds your favourite Star Wars items to the game while remaining as faithful as possible to Minecraft’s core design philosophies.

• 3D modelled lightsabers in 16 different colors
• Blasters with overheating mechanics
• Block-breaking vibroswords
• Yoda's favourite rootleaf stew
• Ration packs, polystarch, and veg-meat, as seen in The Force Awakens
• Custom advancements
• Complete localization and subtitle support

More additions, such as Force abilities, custom mobs, and different planets, are planned!

Setup

• Place the data pack into .minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks/ (or add it on the "Create New World" screen)
• Place the resource pack into .minecraft/resourcepacks/
• On first load, quit and rejoin the world (or restart the server if on multiplayer). Just running /reload will not work
• Items are not available in the creative menu. You must manually craft them or use /function vsw:give/item_name
• To uninstall, run /function vsw:uninstall and delete the data pack. Remaining custom items and entities must be manually cleared
  • Updating? It is good practice to uninstall the pack before swapping versions
