Just Enough Paper

A JEI-style recipe viewer for Paper servers, built entirely on the native Paper Dialog API — no resource packs, no chest GUIs, no dependencies.

Browse every recipe on your server, search for an item, and inspect the exact 3×3 crafting grid with tooltips, all through a clean, paginated catalog.

Requires Paper 26.2 and Java 25+.

Features

• /jei — paginated catalog of every craftable item, with icons and a search bar.
• /recipe <item> — open an item's recipe instantly, with tab-completion over every craftable item.
• 3×3 crafting grid — rendered exactly like the crafting table, with an item button in each slot and tooltips showing ingredients and their accepted alternatives (e.g. "any planks").
• Back / Prev / Next navigation to return to the catalog or cycle through multiple recipes for the same item.
• Reads the live recipe manager, so datapack recipes are included. Supports shaped, shapeless, furnace, blast furnace, smoker, campfire, stonecutter and smithing recipes.

Commands

Installation

1. Drop JustEnoughPaper-26.2.jar into your server's plugins/ folder.
2. Restart the server (or run /reload confirm).
3. Type /jei in game and start browsing.
