Extend Your World's Height And Depth!

In vanilla, you're limited to a total y axis of 384 blocks, while your x and z axes respectively extend by 30,000,000 blocks. What Basal does is match that on the y axis up and down.

Using Basal you're now able to set your world depth to -30,000,000 blocks down and your world height to 30,000,000 blocks high. With vanilla allowing you to go out 30,000,000 blocks on your x and z axes it only ever made sense that you should have the same choice vertically.

Basal_Compatibility_Header

When it comes to compatibility with other mods, it's something that's been thought about since the start of development and its very important. In order to be useful Basal has to be compatible with the vast majority of mods used within the community. So far Basal has been tested alongside the following mods and is confirmed to be compatible with:

Distant Horizons Versions: Coming Soon
If there is a mod that you use and isn't on that list, that doesn't mean it isn't compatible. It means it hasn't been tested and verified compatible so I've decided to not put it on the confirmed compatibility list. With all that said I do expect a lot of other mods out there will run just fine alongside it but if you play with a mod that has issues you may make an issue report or reach out in the Vivarium Studios community discord channel for support.
