Upgraded Iron Chests adds Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite chests in single and double sizes to expand storage capacity. It features an in-GUI search bar, quick-transfer options, and inventory buttons to dump or quick-stack items into nearby chests. The mod also includes a chest-linking system with world path highlighting and an interface toggle to disable chest particles locally.

What's New In V1.3.1

  • Rarity Filter: Added a new button to filter items by rarity.
  • Compact Feature: Added a setting to remove empty slots and move all items to the top of the chest.
  • Search Registration: Chests no longer auto-register in search; they must be enabled manually.
  • Hotbar Protection: Quick-transfer now ignores the player's hotbar.
  • Hopper Fix: Fixed crashes and compatibility issues with hoppers.
  • Ender Chests: Fixed integration; searching for an item now points you to the nearest Ender Chest.

  • Chest Linking & Highlighting: A system to link chests together, paired with a tool that renders visual lines in the world to show the exact location of the linked chest.

  • Particle Controls: Custom ambient particles render around upgraded chests, with a dedicated toggle switch in the player inventory screen to enable or disable these effects locally.

  • Fireproof Construction: Every chest in this mod is completely immune to fire and lava, ensuring your loot is never lost to an accident.

  • Netherite Blast Immunity: The Netherite Tier is 100% explosion-proof (TNT & Creepers), providing the ultimate security for your most valuable items.

Platform Compatibility

  • Supported Loaders: Currently, the mod supports Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. This initial release focuses on versions 26.1 and above.

  • Upcoming Versions: In the future, mod support will expand to include Minecraft versions 1.20 and 1.21.

  • Server Support: Optimized for both Singleplayer and Multiplayer. You can run this mod on dedicated servers using any of the supported loaders for a seamless experience.
