Ever wanted to 1v1 your friends in Minecraft, battle-royale style?

This datapack allows for that! Featuring a built-in grace period, shrinking worldborder and the use of the underrated locator bar, this datapack provides a unique experience where players gather resources prior to fighting rather than traditional kit PvP. With the constantly shrinking border and the danger of revealing your location for even a moment, players have to weigh the benefits of gathering extra resources, or going on the hunt early for the element of surprise.
Setup
This datapack has a fairly simple setup process. When you generate a world, it creates two platforms at the coordinates X: 100, Z: 100 and X: -100, Z: -100. The datapack works by checking for players with the tags: player1 and player2.
Type in:
/tag <player_name> add player1
and
/tag <player_name> add player2
Replace <player_name> with the names of the players who are participating.
Once you're ready to start, type
/function battle:start
to begin!
Recommendations
It is highly recommended that you use this datapack in a hardcore world to make winning/losing more impactful. In addition, during setup, it is recommended that you use repeating command blocks for the /tag commands to prevent any chance at players getting a headstart or unfair advantage.
