HunterSMP Mod

HunterSMP Mod is a Minecraft mod originally created for the private HunterSMP server, designed to add high-stakes survival mechanics. It can be used on any multiplayer server that wants a competitive, life-based gameplay system.

The mod focuses on a lives system, craftable progression items, and an integrated anti-cheat designed to maintain fair gameplay on supported servers.

Features

Lives System

Players begin with 3 lives. Every death removes one life. Once a player runs out of lives, they are banned from the server until revived.

Life Totems

  • Craftable item that grants an additional life
  • Can be used to extend survival or stored as a valuable resource
  • Adds an economy/strategy layer to life management

Revive Totems

  • Craftable item used to revive banned players
  • Allows banned players to rejoin the game through player interaction
  • Encourages alliances and in-game cooperation

Built-in Anti-Cheat

  • Server-integrated anti-cheat system
  • Required on both server and client otherwise client gets kicked
  • Detects and prevents common modified client advantages and unfair gameplay behavior
  • Runs automatically on supported servers

Originally developed for HunterSMP, this mod is intended for multiplayer servers where death has consequences, and where players can regain lives or revive others through crafted items and cooperation.
