This Addon Works on Cobblemon 1.8.3
Have you ever been chasing an elusive Pokémon only to accidentally kill it? Don't you wish you could capture a Pokémon after defeating it, instead of having to keep it alive?
Faint Capture for Cobblemon lets you do just that: you just defeat a wild Pokémon with a Poké Ball in your inventory and they join your party! (Or PC!)
Inspired by tmetcalfe89's Catch On Defeat
How does it work?
In Survival:
- You must have a Poké Ball of any type in your inventory (Master and Ancient Origin Balls aren't counted)
- Defeat a wild Pokémon to catch them in whichever Poké Ball you have available
- Your Poké Ball is consumed after you defeat the Pokémon
- Lower tier Poké Balls are prioritized over higher tier Poké Balls
In Creative:
- You don't need to have any Poké Balls in your inventory
- Defeat a wild Pokémon to catch them in a regular Poké Ball
- No Poké Balls in your inventory are consumed
Important Note: If you're in survival and have no suitable Poké Balls, defeating a Pokémon will NOT capture it
