Datapack:
A vanilla Minecraft datapack inspired by the Null army from Unstable SMP.
It recreates their signature way of moving: you choose coordinates, teleport there, and a Nether Portal appears around you as if you just stepped out of it.
Features
- Teleport to any coordinates in the Overworld
- Instantly spawns a Nether Portal at the destination
- You appear inside the portal
- Portal orientation automatically matches the direction you were facing
Main command
/function null_portal:strike {x:<X>,y:<Y>,z:<Z>}
Mod:
Server-side Fabric mod (Minecraft 1.21.11) that lets operators open linked, vanilla-looking Nether portals by command, inspired by NULL from Unstable SMP.
/portal open <player>builds a portal in front of you and another in front of the target; the two are linked./portal open <x y z> [dimension]does the same, with the second portal at the given coordinates in the Overworld, Nether, or End./portal link <x y z> [dimension]links the nearest portal to an existing portal at those coordinates, including regular vanilla ones./portal unlinkremoves the link of the nearest portal.
Portals use a full 4×5 obsidian frame, never replace existing blocks, and can spawn in mid-air. Links are two-way and permanent until either portal is destroyed. Then the link is removed and the surviving portal behaves like a normal vanilla one. Links are saved with the world.
