GuildConnect
GuildConnect is a robust plugin designed to integrate Minecraft and Discord in a way that links together the community, the staff of the server, and the chat application Discord into one fully functional platform.
From account verification and synchronization of LuckPerms, to cross-platforn moderation, auditing, and placeholders; it helps you keep the Minecraft server and your Discord community properly in touch.
Features
Integration
Link your Minecraft server with Discord and make sure that all player details are in sync among both of the services.
- Your Discord and Minecraft accounts are linked through verification.
- Discord roles are synchronized with LuckPerms groups.
- Roles and nicknames in Discord are updated directly from Minecraft.
- Player and Discord information is synchronized across the whole server.
- Provides reliable synchronization without the need for the tedious manual involvement.
LuckPerms
GuildConnect also synchronizes the user's LuckPerms main group with an appropriate role in Discord.
With the use of:
/discord update
GuildConnect is able to:
- Recognize the current LuckPerms primary group of the player.
- Detect the established Discord role mapping.
- Treat the role mappings without minding any differences in capitalization.
- Clean the obsolete Discord roles associated with LuckPerms.
- Assign the required Discord role to the player user account.
- Change the player's nickname on Discord.
- Create an Audit Embed with the group, role, and result of the operation.
This results in the synchronization of the ranks and roles in the server with minimum work from the administrators.
Verification
Let’s give the players an opportunity to connect their accounts on Discord and Minecraft in a safe manner.
By means of verification, it is possible to make the connection between the two systems and establish the basis for synchronizing the roles and managing the server with the help of Discord.
Also, GuildConnect is responsible for unlinking the accounts as well, including removing the roles assigned on Discord and verification ones.
Placeholders
GuildConnect has placeholders that work with PlaceholderAPI for showcasing info from your Discord server right in Minecraft.
Some of the information includes the following:
- the total count of your Discord members
- the count of the online members
- verification status
- version of the plugin
Discord Moderation
Control your Minecraft server directly from Discord.
Your staff can execute moderation commands that will work in Minecraft.
For instance:
/mc_mute
/mc_kick
/mc_ban
This allows you to quickly deal with events on your server without switching between Discord and Minecraft.
Audit System
GuildConnect performs detailed logging for any critical integrations and administrative operations.
The Audit embeds include information like:
- Minecraft player
- Discord user
- LuckPerms group
- Discord role
- Action taken
- Operation result
- Verification and unlinking events
- Synchronization result
- Minecraft chat and ability to cross-chat
- Minecraft "join/leave/advancement" events
This provides admins with a transparent record of crucial actions that were taken on GuildConnect.
Update Checker
GuildConnect has an adjustable update checker.
The update system can be enabled or disabled in the configuration file config.yml.
update-checker:
enabled: true
If enable, GuildConnect will check for any available updates. A private download link will only be provided to server OPerators.
PlaceholderAPI
GuildConnect is integrated with PlaceholderAPI, which allows the use of Discord verification information on your server.
Placeholders can be used for:
- Scoreboards
- TAB
- Holograms
- Text chat
- Menus
- Other PlaceholderAPI compatible plugins.
Placeholder List
- %guildconnect_discord_members% - Total discord players (number)
- %guildconnect_discord_members_active% - Total online discord players (number)
- %guildconnect_verified_players% - Total verified players (num)
Commands
/discord update
This command is for syncing your Minecraft LuckPerms group to the appropriate Discord role and to modify your Discord nickname.
/discord unlink
The unlinking process is complete, and all Discord roles are deleted, so your Discord and Minecraft accounts are unlinked.
/discord update
Syncs LuckPerms user rank with discord roles
/discord forcelink
This command generates a verification code for another player. /discord forcelink <player name>, should just be used for bugged players... (op only / guildconnect.discord.forcelink)
Staff
GuildConnect provides the solution for the servers whose communities are organized via Discord. GuildConnect connects Minecraft, Discord roles, verification, moderation and server details within a single integration, instead of managing separate systems.
One community. Two platforms. One connection.
Requirements:
- Paper / Spigot compatible Minecraft server (Plugin original version is 1.21.1)
- Discord bot (For the roles & nicknames to work, the bot role should be above the rest of em)
- LuckPerms (optional)
- PlaceholderAPI (optional)
Recommendations:
- LuckPerms for the synchronization of Minecraft ↔ Discord roles
- PlaceholderAPI for presenting Discord in-game information
GuildConnect — Connect with your server. Connect with your community.
