MtnEnderFix

MtnEnderFix is a lightweight and robust plugin for Paper, Purpur, and Spigot servers (1.20.x and 1.21+) designed to stop players from glitching or clipping through walls, corners, ceilings, fences, and ladders using Ender Pearls. It preserves 100% smooth vanilla mechanics for all legitimate long-distance throws.

Key Features

Here is a breakdown of the core protection mechanics included in MtnEnderFix:

• Smart Push-Back Relocation: When impacting a wall or edge, the plugin safely offsets the player backward into clear open air, landing them securely without pushing their hitbox into blocks.
• Mathematical Corner Centering: Automatically centers the landing position on block edges and corner floors to eliminate the corner-floor glitch and suffocation.
• Ladder and Climbing Block Protection: Disallows landing directly inside ladders, vines, or scaffolding to prevent glitch climbing or hitbox exploitation.
• Nether Roof and Ceiling Safeguard: Blocks ascending through the Nether bedrock ceiling and vertical clipping through solid ceilings.
• Instant Point-Blank Detection: If a player throws a pearl point-blank against an obstruction or directly downward into a tight corner, the throw is cancelled instantly before takeoff.
• Optional Minimum Distance: Configurable minimum throw distance to restrict short foot-throws (disabled by default).
• Long-Distance Filter: Legitimate throws (> 12 blocks) behave 100% according to vanilla Minecraft physics with zero interference.
• Experimental Pearl Ride: Optional fun setting to ride thrown pearls (disabled by default).

Commands and Permissions

Manage and configure the plugin in-game using the following commands and permission nodes:

• /mtnenderfix reload (Aliases: /mef reload, /enderfix reload, /mtnfix reload): Reloads the configuration without restarting the server.
• mtnenderfix.admin: Grants access to the reload command (Default: OP).
• mtnenderfix.bypass: Bypasses all pearl restrictions (Default: false).
