Edible Inedibles

This mod was originally an unserious one-off mod i made for a friends group server, and now its grown into a full blown mod i work on in my free time for fun, while staying true to its original purpose as a mod that adds... unusual food options to say the least.

Currently, the mod adds 7 food items and 2 custom effects with corresponding potions and splash potions.

food items:

• crunchy rock
  • crafted with 1 cobblestone
  • applies "cavity" for 2 minutes and slowness for 10 seconds when eaten
• yellow snow
  • crafted with 1 snowball and a gold ingot
  • basically a cheaper, but also weaker, golden apple.
• uranium
  • crafted with 1 crunchy rock and 1 redstone dust
  • applies "Irradiated" for 4 minutes, haste 4 for 2 minutes, and water breathing for 4 minutes.
  • has a chance to also apply glowing or night vision.
• sulfur dust
  • crafted with 1 sandstone
  • applies nausea 2, haste 2, and blindness for 1 minute.
• pure crystal
  • obtained by blasting sulfur dust
  • applies Speed 30 and hunger 50 on consumption.
  • has a 50% chance to apply haste 4.
• just dirt
  • crafted with crunchy rock, yellow snow, uranium, sulfur dust, and pure crystal
  • applies EVERY effect in the base game, with the negative ones being extra potent.
• fake tooth
  • crafted by putting a bone into a stonecutter.
  • gives one of 4 effects: strength, wither, haste, or blindness when consumed with a 25% chance for each.
