Vanilla Plus Style Expansion

Status: Active Development (LTS)

Target Version: This project is strictly locked to Fabric 26.2.

Overview:

  • This project is focused on the expansion of Minecraft’s weapons, adding new swords made of the new modded metals. More weapons like the broadsword, battleaxe, nunchucks, daggers, silver arrows, and more will be added as this mod is updated.

Intent:

  • This is a personal mod I have designed as a hobby to enhance the gameplay of my personal server. I decided to share it with any adults who want to play with it as well. If interested, we could try to arrange a suitable time when you can see this mod in action firsthand before downloading. This helps me to learn and encourages new ideas. The project will continue to expand over time.

Current Feature Set:

  • New Vanilla Style Swords: With this mod, you can craft certain swords with modded metals like: Aluminum Sword, Cobalt Sword, Lead Sword, Silver Sword, Tin Sword, Titanium Sword, and Zinc Sword. Titanium swords are weaker than diamond swords but have a higher DPS.
  • Walking Sticks: Walking sticks for the elderly pack a punch when used as a weapon.

Dependencies:

Dependencies Note: Without the metals mods like Jay's Ores, you can still enjoy some of the new weapons like grandma's walking stick. You just won't get the weapon variations made of non-vanilla materials.

Compatibility: This mod uses standard c:tags for all weapons to ensure compatibility with other tech and storage mods.

Currently, the furnace and smelter only recycle the weapons of this mod into nuggets with Jay's Ores. If you have another metal mod that you prefer and would like the furnaces to work with, let me know here, and I will try to make this mod compatible with that mod.

Maintenance: This version will receive support and updates throughout 2026.

Future Updates: Migration to version 27.1 is planned for early 2027.
