Edits loot tables found in Dungeons and Taverns and prevents them from generating any of the custom enchantments included in DnT. This effectively disables them if you want a more "pure" experience with the datapack and all it's structures.
Version 2.0+ of this pack also dynamically edit and remove any potential DnT enchantments from items/enchanted books, once they enter a player's inventory. Available in versions for DnT 4.5 and onward.
F.A.Q.
So does this prevent DnT structures from generating any enchantments as loot?
- No, all DnT structures will instead roll for vanilla Minecraft's #on_random_loot tag
What if I want to disable only some of DnT's enchantments, not all?
- That is outside the scope of this datapack, as it blanket disables all of the DnT enchantments. There are mods out there that are more tailored for removing certain enchantments from your gameplay, such as pajic's Enchantment Disabler.
Is there no mod version for this pack? How do I install it for a server?
- If installing on a server, in order to ensure that it is loaded in the correct order, make sure to use the commands
/datapack disable (file location of Enchant Disabler datapack)followed by/datapack enable (file location of Enchant Disabler datapack) lastand then/reload
What about players that have already obtained the enchantments?
- As stated above, with 2.0+ versions of the datapack, any of the DnT enchantments in player inventories will be edited out. This datapack does not dynamically alter the contents of containers / bundles / shulker boxes.
What about any Villagers that generate some trades offering these enchantments?
- This datapack does not touch any Villagers with trades, nor does it tweak the various DnT 4.6+ advancements for their secret librarian trades that have already been granted. This is intended behavior of this datapack, as the enchantments will still be edited out upon entering a player's inventory.
