Datapack Name: Pain

Description

This datapack introduces a Challenge to Minecraft. Originally tested in a private Discord server, it officially launched on Modrinth in version 1.3.0.

Features

  • Effects:

    • Weakness I: Reduces player damage (Nerfed from Weakness II in version 1.3.1).
    • Mining Fatigue II: Slows down mining speed.
    • Hunger I: Increases hunger depletion rate.

  • Lava Lakes:

    • 50% chance of generating in each chunk (introduced in version 1.3.0, I have no idea how to make them spawn naturally.).

  • Armor Unwearable:

    • Added in version 1.3.0 but removed in version 1.3.1 due to errors.

Version History

  • Private Versions (Pre-1.3.0): Tested within a private Discord server.
  • 1.3.0: First public release on Modrinth; added lava lakes and the unwearable armor feature.
  • 1.3.1: Removed the unwearable armor feature due to errors. Weakness II -> Weakness I
  • 1.4.0: Hunger II -> Hunger I, Added halved hearts.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the datapack file.
  2. Place the file in the datapacks folder of your Minecraft world save.
  3. Load the world or use the /reload command to activate the datapack.
