Small fixes that make Pixelmon feel better (in my opinion).
A side-mod for Pixelmon that cleans up a handful of things that I wanted changed. No huge overhaul, just fixes.
⭐ So what does it do? 🤔
This one's a grab bag. Five separate tweaks, each one solving something that annoyed me while playing Pixelmon. None of them are flashy on their own, but together they smooth out a lot of rough edges in my opinion.
Every feature has its own on/off switch in the config, so if you only want two of the five, just turn the rest off. Nothing here forces itself on you.
Singleplayer or server-side, works either way.
🌟 No More Legendary Deja Vu 🔁
You know that feeling when you get a wild legendary spawn and it's Zacian or Zamazenta again like the last twenty times? This stops that.
The mod keeps track of the last few legendaries that actually spawned (3 by default, configurable up to 10) and won't let that same one show up again until it rolls off the list. If a spot only has one legendary that can spawn there anyway, it just lets it through instead of forcing nothing to spawn. It doesn't mess with the rarity odds either, it just rerolls in the background until it lands on something that isn't recent.
🛒 PokeMart Cleanup 💰
PokeMarts now sell the standard Poke Ball and Revives, and that's it. All other balls are gone. No more buying Quick Balls, Timer Balls and Great Balls and buying your way past actually playing Minecraft in order to catch things. Grow apricorns and go mining... the RIGHT way to play.
Prices for both are configurable, and it only touches shops that already sell Poke Balls, so daycares and move tutors are left alone.
📦 Better Chest Loot 🗝️
Arena and PokeMart chests had loot tables, but they're pretty awful. Another Big Malasada and Friend Ball lid? Great. Not anymore. This swaps them out for a curated tier list instead, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary, each with real weight behind it.
Roll counts and tier odds are all configurable, so you can make chests generous or make them rare finds, whatever fits your world.
🛡️ Raid Allies That Actually Help ⚔️
Solo raids hand you AI partners, and sometimes those partners are literally throwing a Maractus at a Heatran just to make sure you don't get to catch it.
This filters that pool before an ally gets picked. No first-stage Pokemon (has to be single-stage, middle, or fully evolved), no allies that are weak to the boss's type, and Base Stat Totals get matched close to yours and the boss's so you're not getting carried by a dead weight partner. If tightening the filters would leave you with zero allies, it backs off instead of breaking the raid.
🔧 Healer & PC Drops 🔩
Break a Healer or PC without Silk Touch and instead of an aluminum ingot, you get proper Healer or PC Parts.

Craft it back into the machine whenever you want. Silk Touch still just gives you the block like normal.
🔨 Config for Everything 🔧
Every single feature above has its own toggle, plus its own set of numbers to mess with. Anti-repeat count, shop prices, loot weights, raid BST range, all of it lives in PixelmonAdjustments.toml and reloads live with your server.
You don't have to touch a thing to get going. Defaults are already set up how I'd want to run it myself.
😐 So why did I make it? ❓
- Legendaries felt cheap when they repeated. Getting the same one back to back kills the excitement of a legendary spawn, so I fixed that. I'm lying, I literally made this because I hate Zacian and Zamazenta spam spawning every single time.
- Shops were overpowered. One Relic Crown and you literally have infinite balls. Not anymore.
- Chest loot was just annoying. I wanted chests that actually felt worth opening but weren't OP or full of litter.
- Raid allies could be actively bad. Getting handed a partner that just faints instantly isn't fun for anyone.
- None of this needed a huge mod. These are small annoyances, so I built small, focused fixes instead of some giant rebalance mod nobody asked for.
🗃️ Versions, Compatibility and Other Nerd Stuff 🛢️
- Built for Minecraft: 1.21.1 on NeoForge. That's what I run, that's what this is made for.
- Requires whatever the current Pixelmon version is for 1.21.1 NeoForge. I'll try to keep this updated as Pixelmon updates, no promises I won't slip up eventually.
- Works fine alongside my other Pixelmon side-mods and shouldn't step on anyone else's toes either.
- This one's a server-side mod through and through. All five features are server logic, nothing here needs to be on the client.

❤️ Thanks to the Pixelmon team 😁
None of this works without Pixelmon existing in the first place. The team behind it has put years into building and maintaining something this big and this polished, and I just get to tinker around the edges of it. Genuine thanks to everyone on the Pixelmon dev team for the work they've put in and for still supporting it. Go check out the base mod if you haven't.
