Item Limiter — Plugin Guide & Features

Item Limiter gives server owners complete control over item restrictions, allowing you to limit or completely disable specific items to keep gameplay fair and balanced.

Restricted items cannot exceed their configured limits, while disabled items cannot be obtained or held by players. Item Limiter actively enforces these restrictions in real time, preventing players from bypassing them through alternative item sources.

Whether you're running an SMP, Minecraft event, or large-scale server, Item Limiter makes managing item restrictions simple and reliable.

Commands & Usage

/itemlimit add

Hold an item in your hand and use this command to add it to the restriction list.

/itemlimit remove

Hold a restricted item in your hand and use this command to remove it from the restriction list.

Once removed, players can obtain and use the item without any restrictions.

/limiteditems

Opens a GUI displaying all currently restricted items, including:

• The restricted item
• Its maximum allowed amount
• Whether the item is enabled or disabled

/itemlimit manager

Opens a clean and intuitive management GUI where server administrators can:

• View all restricted items
• Adjust item limits
• Enable or disable items
• Edit individual item settings

/itemlimit reload

Manually rescans the inventories of all online players and removes any restricted items that should no longer be present.

Automatic Enforcement

Item Limiter continuously monitors your server to ensure restrictions are enforced in real time.

The plugin automatically:

• Scans player inventories when they join the server
• Checks restricted items when players pick them up
• Prevents players from obtaining restricted items through other item sources
• Enforces item limits without requiring manual intervention

Grant the following permission to allow a player or group to manage Item Limiter:
