CustomSwords - Unique Elemental Weapons

A custom Minecraft Spigot/Paper plugin that introduces three powerful, custom-crafted elemental swords to your server: Thunder Sword, Speed Sword, and Ender Sword.

Each sword comes with unique passive effects, devastating right-click abilities, custom cooldown/duration tracking, and dynamic visual glowing effects!

⚔️ The Weapons

  • ⚡ Thunder Sword

  • Passive: Permanent Strength II while in your inventory, extra armor-ignoring damage, and triggers a lightning strike every 3rd hit on an enemy.

  • Ability: Thunder Storm — Calls down 4 consecutive lightning strikes on all nearby enemies within a 10-block radius.

  • 🌀 Speed Sword

  • Passive: Permanent Speed I while in your inventory.

  • Ability: Velocity Dash — Propels you forward at extreme speed, leaving behind a trail of wind and end particles.

  • ☥ Ender Sword

  • Passive: Resistance I, Strength II, and Speed I while in your inventory.

  • Combo Passive: Hitting an enemy 5 times in a row without taking damage inflicts Wither, Blindness, and Darkness for 5 seconds.

  • Ability: Dragon Breath Blast — Launches an Ender Dragon fireball that creates a massive smoke cloud on impact, dealing continuous damage to enemies for 25 seconds.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Interactive GUI (/swords gui): An in-game menu where all players can inspect weapon stats and lore. Operators in Creative mode can grab the swords directly from the menu.
  • Smart ActionBar Display: Displays live ability status on your action bar (ACTIVE duration and remaining Cooldowns).
  • Friend Trust System (/trust <player>): Prevent your sword abilities and area-of-effect damage from harming your friends or team members.
  • Dynamic Item & Player Glow: Weapons glow on the ground when dropped, and holding multiple custom swords automatically cycles your player glow color!
  • Admin Commands: Reset cooldowns on demand or inspect available sword IDs.

📜 Commands

  • /swords gui — Opens the interactive showcase menu for all players.
  • /swords see — Lists all custom sword IDs in chat (OP Only).
  • /cooldown reset [player] — Resets all ability cooldowns and durations (OP Only).
  • /trust <player> — Adds a player to your trust list to prevent accidental friendly fire.
