Become a Knight Radiant. Bond a spren, breathe in Stormlight, swear the Ideals, and command the Surges of Roshar — then summon a living Shardblade and Shardplate to stand against the Fused when the highstorms bring the Enemy.
A large, high-polish ability-progression mod inspired by Brandon Sanderson's The Stormlight Archive — all ten orders of the Knights Radiant, seventy unique powers, oath-driven progression, Voidbringer invasions, and glowing, misty, storm-blue spectacle.
NOTE: The fabric version is mostly untested; base testing has been run, but that is the extent. The forge version has been (hopefully) fully tested and is entirely functional.
The Ten Orders When you first enter a world, you choose your order and bond your spren. Each order commands two of the ten Surges and has seven unique abilities spanning combat, mobility, utility, and support:
Order Surges The path of… Windrunner Adhesion & Gravitation Flight, lashings, and the shield of those who cannot shield themselves Skybreaker Gravitation & Division Relentless judgment — brands, sky-slams, and executions Dustbringer Division & Abrasion Fire, ruin, and frictionless motion Edgedancer Abrasion & Progression Grace, growth, and healing the forgotten Truthwatcher Progression & Illumination Revelation, foresight, and quiet restoration Lightweaver Illumination & Transformation Illusions, disguises, and Soulcasting Elsecaller Transformation & Transportation Teleportation, matter, and Shadesmar Willshaper Transportation & Cohesion Freedom, stone-shaping, and scattered light Stoneward Cohesion & Tension The unbreakable line — walls, wards, and the mountain's heart Bondsmith Tension & Adhesion Unity — the rarest and most radiant of all Not happy with your choice? Craft a Nahel Gem to release your bond and swear yourself to a new order (operators can also switch it by command).
Swear the Ideals Progression follows the Radiant oaths. Every order shares the First Ideal, then earns its way through the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth by living up to its nature — tracked through ability mastery, order-specific feats, and narrative deeds (slaying the Fused, weathering a highstorm in the open, healing an ally from the brink, walking other realms, befriending creatures, and more).
Your bonded spren companion drifts beside you, glows in your order's color, and speaks toward your next Ideal — the bond made visible. Speak the oaths to unlock:
Third Ideal → summon your Shardblade (ten heartbeats, and the blade answers) Fourth Ideal → summon your Shardplate Oath progression is meaningful but not grindy, and operators can fast-forward anyone with commands.
Shardblades & Shardplate — one for every order Each order summons a unique, colored Shardblade styled after its Honorblade, with its own on-strike effect:
Windrunner blades make gravity forget your foe (levitation) Skybreaker blades brand and burn the guilty Elsecaller blades cast the soul elsewhere Edgedancer blades steal grace back to you… and seven more Shardplate comes in ten ornate, gold-trimmed, order-colored sets, each humming with its order's Surges while worn. Shards are bound to their Radiant — they can't be dropped, stolen, or lost on death. (Blades deal reduced damage to players who haven't reached the Fourth Ideal, so newcomers aren't slaughtered — but full-strength against sworn Radiants who can armor up.)
The Stormlight Economy Gather gemstone spheres (chips, marks, broams) and hold them out under the open sky during a highstorm to infuse them with Light. Breathe in Stormlight to fuel your powers, heal your wounds, and glow with drifting mist. Highstorms are a real, recurring world event — dangerous if you're caught exposed and unprepared, but a sworn Radiant (Third Ideal and beyond) learns to ride them.
The Enemy — Voidbringers & Voidlight Highstorms carry the Fused (flying, surgebinding foes) and the towering Thunderclast miniboss. Defeat them for Voidlight — dark Stormlight.
Dare to use Voidlight on your own spren, and you corrupt the bond: your oaths fall silent, but you gain the seven Void powers of the Fused, channeling a single darkened Surge. Cleanse the corruption with an infused broam to shine true again.
Deep Progression Systems Skill trees — 31 nodes per order across power, efficiency, capacity, mastery, and shard branches, with mutually exclusive path choices (Storm vs. Shelter, Radiance vs. Depth) so no two Radiants are built the same. Mastery — every ability grows stronger the more you use it. Oathgates — craft and place these ancient platforms to fast-travel across your world, even between dimensions. Fabrials — cage spren in gemstones to craft eight devices granting permanent effects while carried. A clean, Cursed Fate–style power menu and HUD with unique icons for all 77 abilities, live cooldowns, and mastery bars.
Controls (rebindable) Key Action M Power menu (abilities + hotbar assignment) K Skill tree H Breathe in Stormlight (hold) Y Summon / dismiss Shardblade U Summon / dismiss Shardplate R C V B G Activate ability slots 1–5 🛠️ Operator Commands /radiant lets ops set orders, ideals, mastery, skill points, and Stormlight, complete oath progress, and trigger highstorms or Fused attack waves on demand.
Multiplayer-ready Ally detection uses vanilla scoreboard teams (/team): same team = ally, everyone else is a valid target. Heals and buffs reach your teammates; combat powers hit your rivals.
Requirements Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric: Fabric Loader + Fabric API Forge: Forge 47.x Available for both loaders. (Pick one loader per world — save data isn't cross-compatible.)
