Mod Features

Items & Blocks

Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots, Sword, Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel and Hoe

Tungsten Upgrade Template, Tungsten Block, Tungsten Ore

Tungsten Food

Tungsten Slop grants short-duration effects: Regeneration, Resistance and Fire Resistance, but also gives negative Hunger.

Tungsten Jerky grants short-duration effects: Strength and Mining Fatigue.

Heavy Enchantment

Heavy is an enchantment compatible with armor that increases knockback resistance by 2.5% and applies a slowness penalty.

Adds Tungsten Advancement Page: Powder?, Yummy Slop, Metallic Munchies, Netherite’s Equal, Rich in Tungsten, Hidden Treasure, Forged in Tungsten, Cover Me in Tungsten, Tooled Up in Tungsten and Tungsten Steed

Progression & World Generation

Progression

Mine Tungsten Ore → Smelt Tungsten Powder → Craft Tungsten Ingots → Upgrade Netherite gear using Tungsten Upgrade Templates

World Generation

Upgrade Templates spawn in Strongholds, Ancient Cities, Desert Temples, Jungle Temples, and dungeons

Tungsten Scrap has a small chance to spawn in Pillager Outposts, Buried Treasure Chests, Shipwreck Treasure Chests and both Underwater Ruins

Tungsten Ore spawns in the deepslate layer, in scattered veins. Generation style is similar to Ancient Debris, with reduced generation rates.

Some Notes

Higher Toughness and Durability than Netherite

Higher Knockback Resistance than Netherite & lower Enchantability

Movement Speed Penalty of 5% per armor piece for balance and gimmick/fun

Tungsten tools have reduced mining speed compared to Netherite.

Tungsten is now an upgrade from Netherite.

Resource Packs

Glowing Tungsten (Built in) - makes the tungsten ore texture glow (recommended for shaders)

Legacy Tungsten (Built in) - reverts some textures to the originals (wouldn't recommend)

Tungsten Textures (seperate proj) - swaps all netherite textures for my tungsten textures, use if you like the look but not the mod
