ModernMC

The ModernMC server is a long-running, Canadian-hosted Java Edition Minecraft server designed around a structured, community-driven Economy and Survival experience. Originally launched in August 2017, it provides a stable, close-knit multiplayer environment that avoids the chaos of unmoderated survival worlds. The server structure focuses on these core areas:

🏙️ Towny & Core Gameplay

• Towny Integration: The progression system centers around Towny. Players can join established towns or save up in-game currency to found their own, allowing them to claim land, manage plots, and build protected communities with friends. • Solo Play Support: If you wish to play solo in a survival-based world, you have that option as well. You do not have to join a massive community to enjoy the server; you can carve out your own independent territory. • Quests & Progression: Rather than standard vanilla survival where goals end after defeating the Ender Dragon, ModernMC features customized in-game quests. Completing these challenges rewards players with resources and currency to advance through the server's economy. • Balanced Economy: The server runs a dedicated player economy. You can buy, sell, and trade items with other players or server shops to fund town expansions and structural upgrades.

• Dedicated Resource Server: To keep the main building world pristine and full of natural beauty, you can collect resources on a dedicated resource collection server. • Regular Refreshes: This resource-gathering world gets refreshed when needed, ensuring that there is always a fresh supply of ores, wood, structures, and terrain to harvest without destroying the landscape around your home base.
