AsianMod

AsianMod is a Fabric mod for 1.21.11 that adds traditional eastern building blocks, a new gear tier, unique weapons, and some interesting survival mechanics to the game.

I built this 99% by myself, one of my friends did help me with a few assets however. While this specific version is final and I won't be actively updating it for newer Minecraft versions, I am definitely planning to develop more detailed and polished mods in the future, so keep an eye out!

How to Install

• Mod Loader: Built for Fabric. You will need the Fabric API installed.
• Compatibility: Made for 1.21.11.
• Multiplayer: This mod must be installed on both the server and the client, or things will break when you try to join. For singleplayer, just drop it right into your normal mods folder.

Gear and Weapons

• Nephrite Jade Set: A full set of tools and armor made from jade. Its durability and stats are around iron level, but it has a hidden perk: incredibly high enchantability (same as gold), making it super easy to roll top-tier enchantment combos.
• Slipper: Asian Dad uses this, so if you defeat him you can use the slippers to annoy your friends. It's a stackable and ranged weapon.
• Flying Needle: A very precise weapon (might not work)
• New Enchantments: Includes custom combat modifiers like Thundering and Curse of Repulsion.

Mobs and Items

• Asian Dad: A brand new hostile mob that spawns in the overworld. Features a custom weapon, behaviors, and its own unique loot drops.
• Rice Wine & Mercury: Two new interactive liquids. You can scoop up Rice Wine with a bucket to drink for potent status effects, or carefully handle toxic liquid Mercury.
• Lanterns: Craftable sky lanterns and paper lanterns.
• Fugu: A high-risk food source. Eat it at your own peril, it has a solid chance of giving you bad poison effects.

Architecture and Blocks

• Porcelain Block(s): A clean, white building palette that includes custom logs, leaves, blocks, stairs, slabs, and fences.
• Traditional Materials: Expand your builds with authentic textures like Rammed Earth, Compacted Timber, Clay Pipes, Lingzhi, Steel Blocks, and true Vertical Bamboo Slabs.
  

"Functional" Blocks:

• Bellows Block: An interactive block with custom push mechanics and sound effects.
• Brass Chest: A heavy-duty storage alternative with an expanded inventory grid.
• Abacus: A functional, interactive math tool to decorate your desks.
• Nephrite Doors: Heavy, stone-tier security doors to lock down your base.
