✨ MaxEnchants

Override vanilla enchantment caps and item-type limits. Put Sharpness 1,000,000 on a helmet, Protection on a stick, Efficiency on a sword — anything, anywhere, at any level. And unlike a plain unsafe-enchant plugin, those extreme levels actually do something.

⚡ The catch nobody tells you (and how MaxEnchants solves it)

Since Minecraft 1.20.5, the game hard-caps a real enchantment level at 255. Set Sharpness 1,000,000 the naive way and it clamps to 255 and displays as the ugly enchantment.level.255.

MaxEnchants fixes this with a true-level system:

1. Your real level (e.g. 1,000,000) is stored in the item's own data.
2. The vanilla enchant is applied at min(level, 255) so the glint and un-handled enchants still work.
3. The vanilla tooltip is hidden and replaced with clean custom lore showing your real number.
4. Custom listeners scale effects on the portion above 255 — so levels 1–255 stay exactly vanilla (no double-counting), and higher levels get the boosted treatment.
